Which Pre-Owned MAZDA Models Come with AWD?

Many of our new Mazda models come with AWD. However, if you’re wondering, “Is Mazda5 AWD?” or about our other pre-owned models, that could be a different story. Modern Mazda outlines our pre-owned AWD inventory.

MAZDA5

There are many pre-owned Mazda models that weren’t offered with all-wheel drive, at least not in the North American market. The Mazda5, for example, came exclusively with FWD. Other pre-owned models that weren’t available with AWD include the Mazda2, Mazda6, Mazda MX-30, and more.

MAZDA CX-3

While many pre-owned Mazda models weren’t offered with AWD, there are many that were. The Mazda CX-3 came standard with FWD, but it was also offered with i-Activ AWD®. The subcompact crossover, which was available from 2015 to 2021, still has many pre-owned AWD models for sale.

MAZDA CX-9

There are also many pre-owned Mazda CX-9 models still available that feature AWD. While the three-row SUV came standard with FWD, it was also available with i-Activ AWD® on higher trims. In 2022 and 2023, every trim came standard with i-Activ AWD®.

Models in the Current Lineup

You can also get pre-owned versions of many of our models in the current lineup with AWD, including the Mazda3 Sedan and Hatchback. Each of the Mazda SUVs have been available with AWD, such as the Mazda CX-30, Mazda CX-5, Mazda CX-50, Mazda CX-70, Mazda CX-90, and the hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions. Many of the SUVs have even come standard with i-Activ AWD® in recent years.
