Powertrain and Drivetrain

The Mazda CX-50 comes standard with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine producing 187 horsepower and 185 lb-ft of torque. The available 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine boasts 256 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque.

Both engines pair with a six-speed SKYACTIV®-G automatic transmission with manual shift and Mi-Drive. This allows you to select different driving modes such as normal, sport, off-road, and towing. This model’s towing capacity is up to 2,000 lbs, but it increases to 3,500 lbs with the turbocharged configuration.

Every new Mazda CX-50 features durable, supportive seats in a relaxing and comfortably designed interior. The entry-level trim features half-leather seat trim and a leather steering wheel.
